2016 Band Camp Information

Band camp is crucial to a successful marching season. During this intense period of instruction, band members learn the proper techniques for marching and performing, as well as focus and teamwork. Time is also allotted for small group instruction and individual practice time. Professional instructors even join us to work with the students. Attendees also have time for basketball, canoeing, and other fun activities. 

Camp Meeting

Please attend the parent / camper meeting in the Adrian High School band room Wednesday, July 20th at 6:30pm. We'll discuss student expectations, collect medical forms, and answer questions. You'll also receive a map to the camp, plus details on the 12pm performance on Saturday, August 6th at the conclusion of band camp.
 
2016 Band Camp Dates: July 31 - August 6 at the Amigo Center in Sturgis, MI.
Check-in time: 12pm at the Adrian High School bus loop entrance
Departure time: 2pm from the Adrian High School.
 
Rooming assignments will be based on information we receive through the Google survey found here: http://goo.gl/forms/z9VGQm4krx

Camp Cost: $260
Proposed payment schedule:
April 1st: $75
May 1st: $100
June 1st: $85
July 20th: Any remaining balance due

If you know that you will not be able to afford the entire cost of band camp, please contact Mrs. Powers or Mr. Kesterke as soon as possible to discuss assistance. You'll be asked to fill out the music booster scholarship application below. Student Booster credit may also be used as payment. You can contact Mrs. Gillin, music booster treasurer, via email at [email protected] regarding questions about your student's music booster account balance.

APS Permission Slip (Covers all 2016 marching band trips)
Music Booster Scholarship Application (Due by June 1st)
Medication Authorization (A physician must sign for / approve all of the student's medications)
