You can buy your pies from any Adrian band, choir or orchestra member from late October through early November for just $10 each. You can also reserve your pies online.
During Apple Pie Day, Adrian music families and other volunteers come together in the high school cafeteria to peel and cut apples, mix ingredients, fill pie shells, and package the pre-sold pies for customers. Yes, we work hard, but it's also a fun, social gathering filled with music and a free pizza lunch. For Pie Day 2016, more than 130 volunteers pitched in to make a school record 919 apple pies! For their help, students - and those who work in their name - receive a portion of the profits in their personal Music Booster account. That money can be applied to band camp and other music camps, private music lessons, instruments, repair, and other music expenses. Pie pick-up follows the morning's pie making process. Customers come to the high school cafeteria between 2 and 4pm to pick up their pies. Take a look at these videos of Apple Pie Day 2015 and Apple Pie Day 2016. Reserve your apple pies here.
