Sure, trying new things can be a little scary sometimes.
Maybe you've never spent a week away from home before. Perhaps you think it'll be too much work. If you're in band, but you're thinking of not going to Adrian Band Camp this summer, take a look at both of the quick videos above. You'll hear from students who had the same thoughts and fears as you, but now they know what a great experience band camp is, how valuable it is, how it made them better musicians, and how it brought them into the Adrian Marching Band family. For many students over the years, band camp has been that first step toward more independence and responsibility; a step toward developing greater confidence; a step toward realizing that hard work is always worth the effort, not just because of what it helps you accomplish, but for what it teaches you about yourself. And that whole "scary" thing? After your first few days at band camp, you'll wonder what you were ever scared about. Have questions about Adrian Band Camp? Ask Mr. Kesterke, Mrs. Powers or any marching band member who has attended. You can do this!
